He is passionate about developing people and communication practices that exceed individual and organizational goals.

Greg possesses 30+ years of experience in higher education, human resource management, and consulting non-profit organizations. Greg holds a BS in Communication and Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University, an MA in Organizational and Professional Communication Development from Ball State University, and a PhD in Industrial Organizational Psychology from Grand Canyon University. He possesses SPHR and SHRM-SCP human resource certifications and is certified to facilitate and interpret various assessment tools on change, conflict, emotional intelligence, and personalities. He currently serves as the Director of Talent Development at Virginia Tech.

Sharon Scott, Ph.D.

Sharon Scott serves as President & CEO of the management consulting firm, Fully Engaged. Fully Engaged focuses on elements of Culture, Teams, and Leaders. Since the launch of Fully Engaged in April of 2022, she has graduated 12 clients and coached 13 junior executives, 6 of whom have moved into C-Suite positions.

From 2013 – to 2021, Sharon served as President & CEO of The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce working to bring the board’s vision to fruition by engaging and galvanizing the internal and external stakeholders, inspiring passion for achieving what is possible, discovering and articulating the values that form the guiding principles of the nonprofit, bringing focus to the vision with a strategic plan created by the board, thinking strategically about the best way to meet business community needs, and evaluating on an ongoing basis, the effectiveness of the MCCC in fulfilling its mission. Scott also designed and led the Leadership New River Valley program receiving national recognition in 2012.

Sharon served as Associate Director and Director of Management & Professional Development Programs for the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech from 1996 to 2011.

Scott holds a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Design with an emphasis on leadership, management, and human resource development from Virginia Tech.

She has been recognized as Chamber of Commerce Executive of the Year in 2021, Business Woman of the Year in 2021, and Citizen of the Year in 2021.

Wendy Glass

Wendy Glass, Founder of Ignite Leadership + HR Consulting Group, LLC is a business leader’s coach. She brings nearly two decades of experience helping organizations accelerate their journey to excellence, using evidence-based leadership teachings and principles. She has held executive leadership positions in healthcare, on state government and non-profit boards, and has experience in higher education. Wendy currently serves her business community as a Director of the Montgomery Regional Economic Development Commission and is a member of the Onward NRV Investor Relations & Development Committee.

Prior to opening Ignite Leadership, a practice primarily focused on high-performing leader coaching and development and human resources consulting, Wendy served as a Market Vice President of Human Resources with HCA Healthcare; a Fortune 500 company based in Nashville, TN. In that role, she led the people strategy for multiple-facility health systems across five states. Before joining HCA, she worked at Carilion Clinic and Virginia Tech.

Wendy is a Certified Executive Coach and Senior Consulting HR Professional, and is certified in multiple behavioral sciences including DISC, 12 Driving Forces, and Emotional Quotient with TTI Success Insights.
